During your first dental visit, we will get to know you, your dental history and capture a full dental health overview.
The first thing you’ll do when you arrive for your first dental visit is fill out your new patient forms. We always ask you arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled dental appointment in order to complete your forms and dental history details.
• Dental X-rays
• Full dental consultation and review of X-rays
• Discussion of your recommended treatment plan
• Full discussion of any dental procedure you might need
• Full photo set of your X-rays
We take a series of digital images or x-rays of the full range of your teeth as part of our complete Agoura Hills dental services. A thorough set of digital images helps us determine what the course of action should be as well as document the current status of your teeth and gums.
Dental X-rays are also important for denture wearers as well. Agoura Hills Dentists Drs. Resnick and Kessler can determine if a denture wearer has adequate bone to support dentures, if there has been any wear and tear over the years that needs restoration plus check for bone fractures, cysts, tumors, lesions or sinus issues.
Dr. Kessler or Dr. Resnick will fully review your X-rays with you. You should always ask any questions you have so that you can reference the images with the dentist. After the dental x-ray review, Dr. Kessler or Dr. Resnick will perform a comprehensive oral exam.
The doctors take great pride in the fact that they customize each patient’s treatment. No two patients will have an exact dental health history, so why would they need the exact same treatment?
You are apart of your dental treatment and the doctors always want you to be fully aware of next steps with your dental health.
We look forward to seeing you for your first dental visit!
